I just renewed an book that I'd checked out from the Stanford libraries, using their online renewal site. It reports: "Renewed, loan period shortened to the date your user privileges expire. Date due: 9/24."

It still seems very weird that in two weeks, I won't be a student any more.

Chuckle. I understand the feeling, at least a bit... there are lots of transitions in my life right now, too, and it's weird to realize how things are changing.

Good luck, and I hope it's all pleasantly weird or pleasant but weird, or whatever mixture of pleasantry and weirdness that's most appropriate.

At least when I went through that, everyone else in my year was as well, because I was doing a BSc at an English university. Must feel *really* odd when you're at the tail end of a PhD and not in synch with anyone else.
