And so, in the waning hours of 2007, I have come to realize that a great conspiracy is afoot.

Some years ago, there was Zero Wing, which swept the internet provoking outbursts of bad grammar. And then, this year, there have been LOLmacros, which again swept through the internet provoking bad grammar.

These two phenomena have one critical thing in common.

They were both perpetrated by that well-known force against writerly productivity: CATS.

This could be trouble.

All your base, they can has them.
