The Register claims (article here) that there's a new search engine (Turbo10.com) that's as good as Google. From what their article says, it sounds very interesting, in part because it's based on some different ideas, such as compiling the results from a lot of specialty searches. Unfortunately, it's also down at the moment, possibly a victim of too much publicity and too many curious geeks all at once.
