A Zeppelin! At Moffett Field!

So says the San Francisco Chronicle. Weather permitting, it's supposed to be here by Saturday, and then it will stay permanently at Moffett (for whatever values of permanently the economy actually allows) doing tourist rides over Sonoma and Napa Valley and such places.

Whee! Zeppelin!

I wonder if it actually gets to live in Hanger One.

Addendum: You can track its progress on this web page; currently, it's in Fort Stockton, Texas, after starting in Beaumont yesterday (and several days before) and spending the night in San Antonio.

Yeah; that's a bit out of my budget, too! Sigh.

I do hope there are enough people for whom it isn't out of the budget that they can make a go of it. (Apparently hot-air balloon flights are in the $200-$300 range, so this isn't orders-of-magnitude higher, which seems hopeful for that.)
