Yesterday evening's shopping list:

• Tomatillos
• Avocados
• Limes
• Granny Smith Apples

Three of those were for tomatillo-avocado salsa fresca, which turned out quite tasty. The apples were for green-tomato chutney (green tomatoes obtained previously, so not on the list).

It is very tasty. tiger_spot and I made some a week and a half ago, and I expected it to last a couple of months of a dab here and a dab there. She's already emptied the pint jar of it, and probably much of the half-pint one by now. (The recipe is rather off on final quantity; I think someone halved it at some point without halving the number of jars it fills.)

So, since there were more green tomatoes, I decided I should make another batch.
