I know there are people reading my livejournal who enjoy popping bubble wrap.

You know who you are.

But did you know about virtual bubble wrap?

Actually love. . .

*grins* Pop! Pop! Pop! There is something just wonderful about destroying bubble wrap. I spent many childhood hours happily doing so.

You will note that I was one of those "plays quietly by herself" children. Put me on a blanket with a bottle of lotion or a few feet of bubble wrap and I was happy for a few hours.

I must be strong, and not bookmark this URL. No! Avoid!

I still enjoy popping bubble wrap, even with arthritic hands and my age being far on the dangerous side of fifty.

The only computer game I play--the only one--is jawbreaker, and it's just because it feels so much like popping bubble wrap.

Nah, it's not so satisfying when the bubbles don't stay popped.

But, but, but, The noise is all wrong! It's too hollow and echo-y and not sharp enough.

It's not the same.
