I seem to have a nice pleasant mad-midnight-coder atmosphere here -- I'm sitting at my desk, with the only illumination in the room a lava lamp (red and yellow) to the right of me, a plasma globe (magenta and cyan) to the left of me, and a couple of flat-panel screens in front of me.

It's a nice pleasant place.

It would be a lot more pleasant if I were managing to actually get much work done, but that part is being excessively difficult. Sigh....

At least the lights are pretty.
