Date: 2007-11-04 01:10 am (UTC)I've been there, I did a heavy dose of USENET from sometime in the early 80's 'till around the mid 90's. I've been drifting in an out since then. Like you, I only reluctantly joined LJ and it's ilk. Basically, I came here because it seemed that's where all my friends had gone.
