So, I just got an advertisement in my email inbox, from a company I've had some interactions with (so it's not really spam), about a local seminar they're presenting. The body of the email is:

This seems to be somewhat missing the point of "advertising"....

I was discussing family email with my mom at one point, and said, "Did you get the one with the giant purple letters?" (Mom didn't send that one, she has better taste.)

I cheerfully informed her that in my email browser, all letters are the same size regardless of who sends the message, and none of them are purple. She wanted to know if this was an email browser she could use. ;)
